From my workshop in Lewes, East Sussex, I turn old furniture into beautiful new pieces for the home, using traditional techniques and eco-friendly materials, vintage fabrics and remnants. I also make hand sewn lampshades and cushions, and curtains to order. Every item is unique and hand made.

Commissions and bespoke work welcomed; I can offer advice on fabrics and styles.

My rate for upholstery and curtain work is £30 per hour. The following is a rough guide to how much it would cost to re-upholster common furniture items, assuming that no structural repairs were needed. Please note this does not include the cost of fabric.

Dining / bedroom chair: £85-£125

Armchair: £175-£225

Sofa: £225-£395

Custom headboard: £120-£195

Pair of lined curtains: £95-£175
